TALCE Conference

4th Air National Guard TALCE Conference

The  146th Airlift Control Flight is hosting the 4th TALCE conference at Channel Islands 14 - 18 September 1999. We are inviting all Guard and Reserve ALCF's, also Headquarters AMC, NGB, 4th, and 22nd Air Force Reserves headquarters and other interested parties. If you would like a formal invitation please contact us. This should be an excellent opportunity for the discussion of mutual problems and sharing of information. Any items you would like placed on the agenda should be forwarded to us at our web site or e-mail to us by 15 Aug   wmarley@cantd.ang.af.mil     We will have some vendors representing some of or more high tech equipment. This site will be updated with the latest information on conference items. 

The conference will be held at the Casa Sirena Hotel adjacent to the Lobster Trap Restaurant located on the sparkling waters of Channel Islands Harbor, in the city of Oxnard.

During the first week in August we will be sending out additional information on the conference. If anyone has something to share and needs time on the agenda for a presentation please submit your request prior to the 15th.  (we are looking for a few speakers)

Opening Event Speaker

Commander of the 146 Airlift Wing, Channel Islands ANGS, California. Brig Gen Iffland is a Command Pilot with more than 4800 flying hours in T-37,T-38, KC-135A/Q and various models of HC-130 and C-130 aircraft. He has been a fully mission qualified instructor pilot for most of his career, and has maintained special mission qualification in night vision goggles and the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS).
